HiDEC’s Analytical Laboratory provides to tools for manufacturing and inspection. On the manufacturing side, the facility houses a small micromachine shop, two 3D printers including a MakerBot Replicator 2X for quick prototype work. On the inspection end, we have cross section processing and viewing capabilities, a scanning acoustic microscope for non-destructive testing of material interfaces as well as a Dage 4000 stress testing tool.
